Coming Attraction 2nd Mondays:

 

Do you love to go to movies but don’t want to go by yourself? Do you wonder who else is just “dying” to see that new murder mystery? Need to de-stress with a good tear-jerker or  chick flick? If laughter is the best medicine, how about a great comedy for your health? Love Pixar Cartoons but don’t have kids to take? We have the solution, 2nd MONDAY at the MOVIES!! Please join other women from Christus Victor on the second Monday night of each month to go to the local movie theater and catch that film you really want to see. Beginning in July, we will plan on going to either Carmike or Columbiana Grande, depending on which theater has the best flicks.The time will vary but we will aim for the 6:00-ish or 7:00-ish time slot.   

 

What if we don’t all like the same movies? No problem, we can split up between the many movies that are playing. Odds are someone else will want to see what you want to see too. So put July 11th on your calendar and keep an eye out for details when we get nearer the date.

 

Bazaar Biz…

 

Bazaar efforts are heating up along with the summer temps. It’s time to turn it up and get busy. We will meet at the church on alternating Wednesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 throughout the summer months to plan, work on projects, recruit volunteers, line up silent auction items, and work on advertising. You don’t have to be crafty to participate. We have so much fun and would love for you to join in. If you have some ideas to share, please let me know. If you can’t come to the weekly meetings but want to participate in other ways, call me and we can sign you up. If you have a green thumb and can grow some jalapeno peppers or bell peppers for us, we would love that too. Need lots for the pepper jelly that we make for the bazaar each year.
