FAITH FORMATION: September 13 – Rally Day
RALLY DAY: On Sunday, September 13, during Faith Formation, we will enjoy a time of fellowship with brunch casseroles and fruit. We hope everyone will come and join us as we begin another year of Faith Formation together.
Visiting Cristo Rey - On Sunday, September 20, I invite you to join me in visiting our sister congregation Cristo Rey Luterana in West Columbia. We will bring a letter of encouragement alongside a donation of food for their food pantry. We're collecting dry foods such as beans, rice, canned foods, and diapers. This is in a show of solidarity with our family in Christ here in South Carolina. Worship is at 5pm. If you can come, contact Pastor Michael.
YOUTH NEWS: On September 20th there will be a youth meeting at 4pm at the church. We will meet to talk about the upcoming youth gathering in Minneapolis next summer. Then we will travel together for the Cristo Rey Lutheran Church service. We hope to see you there on the 20th. If you have any questions, please text or call Suzanne Keller.
DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS: The next Dungeons and Dragons one-shot led by Wil Meade is September 27, 6-8 pm. No experience necessary. All are welcome.
PREPARING FOR CVLC’S 40th ANNIVERSARY: On October 3, we will have a church clean-up day. Please come out and help. On October 11, we will have our 40th Anniversary Celebration with a reception following the 9:30 service.
