Looking Forward at CVLC

Outdoor Worship Service: On Sunday, October 6 at 11:00am we will have our worship service at the Redbud Shelter in Saluda Shoals Park. A potluck picnic will follow the service. The service and the lunch will be held in the shelter. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Main dish, drinks and paper products will be provided. There will be no worship services at the church and no online service available.

COFFEE & GAMES! - Come join us for coffee & games on Sunday, October 6 from 6-8pm at Starbucks on Lake Murray Blvd. Scott Johnson will organize games. Wear a CVLC t-shirt if you have one. Rachel Kaiser is working at Starbucks. This is an opportunity to let Rachel know how much we appreciate the gift of her voice, talent, and personality that she shared with us for so many years.

LUNCH BUNCH: Will gather at Lucky’s, 7811 Broad River Rd, Irmo at 11:30am on October 8. Please join us for fellowship, fun and good food.

BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS: Bring your furry friend to church on Wednesday, October 9 at 6:30pm. Pastor Michael will have a short ceremony to bless our faithful companions. We will gather at the Prayer Labyrinth.

FAITH FORMATION: October 13-Music/Hymns study; October 20-MORE Justice staff Lizzy to lead a class on MORE Justice; October 27-Day of Service (snack packs and cards)

WINE AND WORD: On Monday, October 14 at 6:30pm at the Kochert's.  Come join us for fellowship and banter!  Chapters 7 & 8 of Nadia Bolz Weber's Accidental Saints are possible launching topics for discussion.
